Hey! So we're living in a new place now. We like it. I just have to smile to myself when Matthew tells some of his guy buddies that his favorite thing about the new place is that there is a garbage disposal. :)
The first few days moving in, though, we were having some doubts about the apartment we chose. Let's just say... the ceilings are low. We're talking only a few inches above our heads, and when you're just suddenly exposed to low ceilings, its a bit of an adjustment. Luckily we found a good solution: take a shower! The ceiling in the bathroom is the same height as everywhere else, but the tub is a few inches higher than the floor. What I'm trying to say is that my head grazes the ceiling when taking a shower. And, since the shower head isn't adjustable in the least, the water hits me below the shoulder blades. Hmm....
The good news is that when you get out of the showers, the rest of the house feels positively roomy. It's like we're living with vaulted ceilings! It's all mind over matter. And don't worry, we are again satisfied with the apartment. Nothing but good times here!
