Kansas time

Kansas was a lot of fun too. The biggest highlight was the Jayhawks game! We got to go with a ton of Matthew's family, which was a really good time.

 

 

Matthew said the funniest thing to me right before the game. He said, "Can't you feel the spirit here? It's almost as good as the temple, you just feel the spirit so strongly." Yes, he did say that. But then, his sister Janae said something like that too, so I guess Allen Fieldhouse just is that big of a deal. :) And it was a really fun place to watch and cheer.

Other fun things in Kansas:
*Playing a million and one games of Bandits. Its this card game someone got for Christmas, and it was addicting! I would definitely recommend.

*Movie watching, and college football bowl game watching. One movie we watched was Stalking Santa. Ridiculous, but funny.

*Playing a big game of walleyball.

*Walking home from the Jayhawks game in piles and mounds of snow!

*New years eve was a lot of fun. We ate an hors d'oeuvre dinner, which was delicious. I love stuff like that. Sometimes when I go to restaurants, I just want to order a couple of hors d'oeuvres. Then, we went with Janae to a singles dance. Ha. That was kinda funny. During the dance, Matthew and I were both like, you know, it was fun when we were single, but we are so glad we're married now!

*There was this big snowstorm that came through right before we got there, and then another snowstorm or two while we were there, so we did a lot of shoveling.

*Spending time with lots and lots of family!
